Simone Biles

Simone Biles (born March 14 1997 Columbus Ohio U.S.) American gymnast, who was regarded as one of the world's top athletes. at the 2016 Olympics held in Rio de Janeiro she became the first female U.S. gymnast to win four gold medals at the same Games and she was the first gymnast in history to win three consecutive all-around world championships (2013-15). Biles was born in Spring Texas, in the Houston metro area. Both she and her sister Adria had been adopted by Ronald Biles and Nellie Biles. Simone was interested in gymnastics at the age of six on a day-care field trip to Bannon's Gymnastix and was there for 11 years under the direction of her coach Aimee Boorman. Biles took home the gold medal in the floor and vault competitions at the women's Junior Olympic National Championships before moving up to the elite competition level in the year 2011. Within less than two years, she was the best athlete in her field. Biles's consistent, exuberant nature and high degree of effort in her four events -- vault uneven bars, balance beam floor exercise as well as floor exercise -- made her apart.
